Dok Keow was constructed and designed by Captain Jason Deshay a 15 year veteran of the private mega yacht industry around the world. Working with a Lao team we have painstakingly built and completed what we consider to be the premiere private riverboat here in Laos. We have utilized western materials and construction techniques to create a luxury boat for charter on the Mekong that meets western standards for luxury travelers seeking to experience the river in privacy, style and comfort.
Dok Keow was constructed and designed by Captain Jason Deshay a 15 year veteran of the private mega yacht industry around the world. Working with a Lao team we have built what we consider to be the premiere private riverboat here in Luang Prabang. It is fully furnished with all modern safety equipment and facilities; cabins, individual bathroom, shower, kitchen area, living room area and modern life jackets.Using modern materials and building techniques, we have created a luxury charter boat built for the Mekong that satisfies western requirements yet retains an authentic Lao feel.
This combination ensures our guests experience ―The Mother of Rivers" in style and comfort.
Our itineraries cater to those seeking a day on the river as well as full private charters for up to 4 guests’ overnight or 8 guest for day charters. From a romantic dinner for two to a group of 8 for a private cocktail party we make it happen! We listen to our clients and can provide completely customizable charters to meet guest preferences.
Lead by Captain Jason’s years of experience we strive to deliver a 5 star level of service for our guests. We use our local resources to assist in the planning of every detail to insure our clients have an exceptional private charter and an extraordinary experience on the Majestic Mekong River.

Cancellation by Customer
- 70% deposit will be required for “Night On the Mekong” and “Thai Border” tours. Payable 2 months (60 days) in advance
- All cancellations less than 50 days minimum will be charge 50% of the booking for “Night On the Mekong” and “Thai Border” tours.
- All cancellations less than 40 days minimum will be charge 50% of the booking.
- All cancellations less than 30 days minimum will be charge 100% of the booking.
- In case of “no-show” we will charge 100% of the booking.
Children Price & Extra Bed
- 0 to 5 years old: Free
- 5 to 11 years old: - 50% discount based on extra Pax price.
- The price for one adult and one child under 12 years old will the price for 2 pax.
